Been There Done That...a Few Times

You have to feel for Carolina fans a little bit today. The Heels lost the College Baseball World Series by one run. That one run was given up on an error in the top of the eigth inning. Seminole fans can certainly relate to that 'ole so close', 'what might of been' and even the 'would things have been different if the coach had done this instead of that' feeling that goes along with coming so close but falling short in the championship game.

I know we're supposed to say, 'I was pulling for the ACC' but honestly had the Teels won it in their first trip something would have seemed terribly unjust in the world. Any Seminole fan, knowing we have the distinction of having been to the College World Series more than any team that has never won it, would have to agree. In the world of baseball your season always ends in one of two ways...a championship or a season ending loss. There is no in between. As it turns out the 'Noles, who went 2-2 against North Carolina this year, and the Heels both end their seasons on errors and will continue to think back on this season as 'what might have been' until finally one of them wins the final game of their season.
